This undergraduate-level course is a critical survey of the representation of women in Hollywood cinema, with examples drawn from different historical periods (from the 1930s to the present).
Introduction to Sexuality Studies (Comparative Studies 214)
This course provides an introduction to sexuality studies through an interdisciplinary approach that includes material in history, sociology, law, political science, psychology, education, literature, cultural studies, and other disciplines. To apply the knowledge gained in the classroom, students complete a required “field work” component.
Love, Sex, and Disability (WS 320)
This undergraduate-level course analyzes the many ways in which disability, sexuality and gender intersect, and pays special attention to the areas of difference and diversity, culture and representation, and political contexts and social change.
